Hi guys!
Here are some shots from today. The weather was kind of bad because it was snowing so heavy that we had to turn around and try another trail. The light was really "flat" so it lead to some wierd situations, hehe.
Pitstop at a friends "cabin"
Where we turned around.. you can see the heavy snow. (it`s not dirt on the lens)
Then went up to a lake to check the ice, I somehow managed to do this:
(hard to see where I rode due to the flat light, for those who wonder, NO damages to the sled at all)
Checking ice.. bored 5 holes or so to make sure it was OK.

Here you can see how long the "bore" is.
He`s holding the bore where it went through the ice.. .
There were several layers with ice/snow/water.. but the bottom layer was around 20cm thick (solid ice).
Another situation caused by flat light, hehe
Belly pan seems to be in good condition, carbides too.. hehe.. .

great pics.We call that an ice auger over in the states.
We rode to a hill that many people fear because it`s so steep, they call it the "viking hill" for some reason.. . Think they managed to climb it with a Viking 540 back in the days so they called it the viking hill .
First my friend with the Vector climbed it, it was hard due to the flat light, he had to make to attempts. (lots of rocks everywhere so we had to be careful).
On the top of the hill, much steeper further down.
I did video tape some when we played in the hill so maybe I`ll put out here.
Going back home.. . (not the same hill as above)
Checking sparkplug color & oil consumption.. .
I brought my GPS and it said we had ridden 30kilometers. I spent about 22liters of gas.
That`s not good gas milage is it?.
However I guess it can`t be compared to riding a hard trail.. ain`t no trails where we ride so the snow is loose basically everywhere.
I figured I should have used about 4dl with oil, but I hadn`t.. I don`t suspect that it`s something wrong with the oil pump, I just wanted to see how much it had used.
The MM to my brother in law had used more oil then me.. and less gas.. WIERD.
Wellwell.. .
Hope the weather will be better tomorrow..
Have a nice saturday evening everybody!

The srx's always seem to use less oil than the non powerbvalve tripples and a little more gas. When riding stuff like in the pics don't expect much for fuel milage even on the 4 strokes.I wish we had riding like that arounf my house.
Next time you guys go out tell your buddy to grab the ice augger, lol
I'm shure he will be like huh?

Looks good
I am not a fan of flat light either, especially when you get that falling feeling
then all you can think is how hard will the ending be.
