Hey guys, I Just wanted to know what would be the better suspension...
a 2000-02 MXZ700 or the Vipers.
If one is better than the other how much better is it?
I have a 02 Viper and my dad is looking into getting either a Viper or MXZ. He likes my Viper but he would like to get the best ride possible. He might just cough up the extra $ and get a REV.
Thanks!

I've had both and any sc-10 is better than the proaction, especially the sc-10 3.The one exception would be the x package doo as these were valved quite stiff in fact too stiff unless your rather heavy or very aggresssive. The rev is going to be much better than any of the above mentioned stuff, but much more expensive. If your dad is going to spring for a new rev he should look into a new apex or attack. These are awsome sleds and have proven yamaha quality.Another option would be to find a good deal on a viper and put an m-10 in it,that would be better than any of those ski-doo's with the exception of the rev, just a few things to think about.Just remember the proaction is very limited and even after extensive tuning and even shock revalving it is still so-so at best.

I had my Viper out for the first ride yesterday since I extended it to 136" ( 136 M10, 1.5" Intense ). What a sweet ride. Just a beautiful trail machine. I ride Ski-doo and this is a nicer ride than any of the Renegades I've ridden ( except maybe a Rev Renegade ). You get a near bullet-proof engine in the 700 triple, fuel mileage just shy of a 4 stroke or Powertec or SDI, and, unlike the Revs, there's not a million of them on the trail. You can sell all the old stuff as I did, and do the conversion for 4 or 5 hundred bucks or so.
