Tom, I have heard of a bushing......but I think in order to get the true benefits of the long travel shocks you would have to go to longer radius rods as well......I think the camber angle is different on the trailing arms too. Most of the guys I have talked to all recommend buying the shaft extension kit from Advant-Edge and keeping your stock shocks.
I agree there is more to it but he wasnt asking that....I was trying to help with the convertion...thanks

you need a viper front frame section about 100$. the bushings that go in it. and to cut the top of your bulk head to make room for the tops. this can be done with a heat gun or just cut the top off and make a new one with metal tape. you can buy radius rod extensions for i think about 50$ from hiperformance enginereing or buy differnet ones. i would go with extensions as they are cheaper. yes it is worth it. the sled will ride like it should have . the camber is different but with the viper shocks and multirate springs the sled wont set much higher than it did. you will want to shim your skis once you are done. check out the tech page for a good line up and tighten your front end when you do all this. believe me it is worth it. you have it easy . when i did mine i had to make brackets as there was no viper frame section to make it easy.
have fun making the srx the way yamaha shoud have delivered it.
