hey guys got a question. ive had my engine out and just got it back together and put it in, went to start it and had no spark. never had that problem until today. have had the engine out many times. any help or suggestions would be greatly apprieciated. im not sure if i went brain dead and missed something but i checked it all out and found nothing wrong. parked it and it ran only on two cylinders but it did run. thanks brian

well aside from the obvious connections being done can you elaborate a bit more as to the running on 2 cylinders?/ I am kinda lost on it.
I took the question as it has no spark at all since the engine was replaced?

Well i went through the whole no spark deal last weekend with my srx. It was the wiring harness that goes under the motor. It was full of goo and had a couple bare wires that were shorting out. Just an idea.
well, hate to state the obvious but I would first say to check the white wires down by the engine, and the other plugs over there and make sure they are plugged in and making good connection, then move to the coil wires, make sure the connectors are all good there.
if all this is done and you still dont have anything then youll need a digital multimeter and start checking for power at the source and working out to find the problem. I can walk you thru this, its simple if you take your time.
