Take a look

longtracked and big bore, would be worth 2000 easy i would think if you took off all the ugly yellow from it, and cleaned it up, its got some miles on the chassis but if you go thru the sled it wouldnt scare me away from it.

YA ,That is me! Damn is my wife going to be pissed! I bid once at $1600 then $1650 then there was like 16 sec left & it said to bid had to over $1681 (or something like that!) So I just threw up $1705 Said I won I liked to Craped my self! I was like what have I done! I already sent the deposit & talked to him on the phone Seems on the up & up! Now what the hell am I going to do with a big bore SRX?

It looks like a nice sled.
Have him throw in a lobster bottle opener to sweeten the deal.
 
Well fix it would be a good starting place. Then you might need to sell one of your other sleds. It's hard to explain why you need 2 sleds.
 
well you better start lifting barbells so you can hang onto the handle bars....now youll know what real power is.......lol
 
Well, Still working things out w/ this guy, Seems alittle shaky! I have a feeling it is not his sled but his buddies, I asked about the cluth 3 time & never got a straight answer except that the old one blew apart! I asked no body damage? Then he said that the power valve was installed wrong by the original owner & that ruined a piston since replaced See where I am going here? I told him I need more pics! & from under that hood & I would be posting them on a Yamaha web site to have people that know there stuff to look at them for me! No pics yet, & He will not see any more than the $100 deposit I shot him last night! I will eat that $100 before I send $1600 more! It is in his corner for now!

OH yea! He just sold another SRX last week & recieved positive feedback, I know where you are coming from, Some people just do not know how to make a buyer comfortable! I have 115 A+'s on ebay & when I sell I email them every bit of info I can When it will ship tracking # Sold a 1969 Gibson Dove on ebay for a friend got him $1400 You have to communicate with people! If he send pics & gives me the previous owner All will be good if he does not I'm DONE!

Yea i know i have over 100 F/B too and some of thos sellers made
me nervous,, ya gota watch out....

Hey What is your take on the sled as advertised? Nothing about the seller just as it was on Ebay? If it goes through think I should part it? or fix it?

If she's not to bad($$$)i would fix her up...

but you just don't know untill ya get 'er home, that BB would be awsome
but the weiscos make me nervous..
 
i would pull the engine apart.... and go over the whole sled. who knows what was done when putting the BB together. it seems like a solid machine i would consider keeping it if i were you. take off those gay bombardier wheels.....the sled looks like it needs a good over all clean job....check everything on the machine over. Wiseco pistons work good if you assemble the top end correctly. IMO pull the engine apart rebuild top to bottom.

is it me or does the tunnel extension look a little longer then normal for a 136?

Well to rebuild an engin w/ 3miles would be a bit harsh! I can see breaking it down (compression test first) & see what it looks like! I will not say athing about the Yellow I see lots of guys here that have that! If it were not for the skis being Yellow it would not take much to change the color scheme!
