I have an 1-1/4" predator and I love it. Hooks up really well on ditch or trail conditions. With 150+ horsepower going to the track it takes it all.

The predator is going to be more reliable and a better all around track. They are about equal in the hardpack but once you get in the powder, it isn't even close.

Omg I love my predator. thanks 2000 srx! I broke open some trails this weekend never been through that deep of snow and not goten stuck. It was perfect in the gromed trails as well.

If i had the choice i would go predator. Very similar on trails but the predator will smoke it off trail. Predator probably has a hair better top speed to being a little more open in the center.

Ive got a 1.25" Ripsaw on my Polaris and it howls like crazy. I also read a few threads on the 4-stroke side of TY where people who do lots of WOT lake riding delaminated their Ripsaws.
I think Id actually go with a 1" Hacksaw over either a Predator or Ripsaw...

track
Well guys i got the Preditor 1inch with 192 studs and i have 3600 miles on it and it is starting to let go at the begining of the year i looked at the track all was good then 2 weeks ago i noticed a stud pulled out so i brought it into the garage because i was going to use the torch to melt around the hole to make it last the year and noticed about 7 studs pulled out, serveral luggs are torn off, and i thought this track would have held up a little bit better. Right now i'm leaning towards a hacksaw or a speed track for drag racing and buy a new 4 stroke

If 7 studs are pulled out it doesn't sound like a weak track is the problem.

I just installed a 1.25 ripsaw and I have about 300 miles on it and I love it. I used to have a kimpex aggressor with a 192 studs in it and if I am not on ice I think the ripsaw hooks up just as well. The rear of my sled stays put!!! I have noticed a little top speed that has been snubbed of, but only a couple mph. It sure makes a difference in the powder. Just my 2 cents.

I have had both tracks on sleds. 1.25 predator on RX1 and the 1.25 ripsaw on my Attak. They are both good tracks, but I prefer the ripsaw. The ripsaw also wears a lot better then the predator did. I have over 3000 miles on the ripsaw and it still looks like new
I was thinking of gettin either of these tracks for my 99 srx 700- I am thinking of running a few studs- just to help out on the icy corners. Im not sure if the 1.25 track and studs will fit. Would I be better off with a 1" track and installing studs in it or would i be better off with a non studded 1.25 track?
I also have both tracks,The Rip Saw out performs the predator all around except top end speed on hard packed. In deeper snow the rip saw is better, hooks up very well.

i was going to install the predator i had out of my parts viper but i sold it tonight for $220 with 96 studs but one pulled through to a local guy so i'll never know if it was good or not until he installs it and tells me

I have 4000 miles on my Predator 9818 and it has been excellent.

I had 7200 miles on my predator 9818 and it was still running. Didnt want to take a chance on another season. Just changed to a fully clipped predator so could run extroverts.
