08' Teaser

If they produce a sled like that for the public, then I would consider going 4 stroke. Pending weight, suspension, and HP.

I would say that pretty much confirms that they will have a commercial version of the SnoX sled - SnoX contributed to the R&D - smart - I think it is sweet looking and they should sell a bunch - add a turbo and you are looking at what, 170-180 hp? - I would say it is going set the new standard!! :WayCool: ;)! :yam:

Where is the....... Wind Protection......... ? ! ?

If its their sled for bondockin you dont need wind protection, its what the phazer was to just a sled to have fun with, not go out on wide open stright flat trails to see how fast you can go..... by the look of how HUGE the floats are on that thing its deffinitly a sled ment for some abuse. and for all who dont like the way they look.. thats to bad you gotta give yamaha some credit taking thier 4 strokes as far as they are, proveing everyone rong

Wind protection is over-rated and has never been an issue with me.
My hands are the only thing the wind effects. The outside of my fingers
can get pretty chilly. A pair of bark busters fix that. Wind doesn't effect
your head under a hat and a good coat keeps the cold out.
Windshields, we don't need no stinking windshields.

......Wind protection is over-rated and has never been an issue with me........

I'll second that - I've been riding SRX's for a long time with stock windy - dress right and you don't get cold - don't need to worry about bugs in the winter!!

Yeah i see it lol... And the handgaurds that are on it look like they give good hand protection if someones worryed about getting cold figured cause they have cheap gloves, I wonder what motors in it you can deffinitly tell that its gotta bigger engine compartment then the phazer dose. ;)!

I think it looks VERY similar to a phazer. Yes it looks like it has a little bigger engine compartment but what's with people making it sound like this is just so radically different. Enough people ride the phazers and dont complain too much about wind protection. I've ridden my srx and sx with low windshields for i dont know how many years now and dont get cold, even with an mx style helmet which leaks sometimes around the goggles. As Bischof said, wind protection is overrated. I'll take it if it doesn't make the sled look too bad, but if its going to make it look like a snowmachine with a plate of glass on the hood then i dont want it.
