transfer kit?

is it possiable to just take off the adjusting nuts, so it does not couple?
dont know if I want to go and make a kit and then decide I dont like it?
Installing a 144x16x2" track with 8tooth drivers, and CB drop brackets

Marty, you may mess up the threads by doing that. If you are doing it for your mountain trip just take the rods off and add straps. there is a set on ebay right now under yamaha rx-1. Paul

It Takes A While To Get The Transfer Kit Adjusted. Do Not Do It Just Before A Big Trip, You Will Spend All Your Time Getting Things Right.
