I took aprt an 81 srv secondary to clean and put in new buttons.Like a dumb ??? I didnt make note or markigs of settings for reassembly. I just simply put it back together. While putting the belt on I notice that the sheave moves very easily. The spring is In the #3 hole which Im certian where it was. So Im asumig the sping needs to be a preload. My delema is how much. I cant find any info on a degree, other than a guy has it listed in the TY tech section "User Tunning Chart" as b1 30. I dont know what this means. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Its the only thing left to do before it hit the trail. Mods include Bored 30 over, shaved head, ported, DG pipe, comet clutch and 93 ExciterII rear suspension. Any pogo stick mods out there for this sled? Ride On!!!
in your movable sheave you will see aside the holes,letters a b c d, put the spring in b hole then on your helix the holes are numbered 1 2 3 4, put the spring in the 1 hole, now twist the movable sheave counter clock wise a 1/4 turn then push the helix down and put the c-clip on. make sure it is in the groove
