what are the things called that help keep the battery charged on a viper i think you had to install them maybe on a viper standard to get the battery to stay charged or something or maybe you had to remove them from the er if you removed the es. i think they helped the stator i saw it on here somewhere a while back and now i can't think of it. just post what you think it may be and i know i will remember it once i see the right word but i can't figure it out.

i just did a search and i am pretty sure it'd the smoothing coils. if i were to install es on a standard viper would i have to mess with the smoothing coils at all
No you don't . Find a kit put it in and enjoy .

The battery itself acts as a smoothing coil, so when you add the battery the smoothing coils are no longer needed but they do not hurt anything if left on.
