I have my front shock on the softest spring setting, the rear shock on the stiffest spring setting, and in the middle position. Transfer rods adjusted all the way up so when i'm sitting on the sled the gap is at the top. The front ohlins are at the softest setting. I'm about 220 with gear on and it rides OK. If I set it softer it will bottom out on the big bumps. It does bottom now, but not to often.

I found this helpful when setting up my Ohlins in the skid - it's from Pioneer's web site.

Suspension Settings - 2002 SX Viper w/Pioneer Performance shock re-valving
The specifications listed below have been developed only to be used along with shock re-valve on the SX Viper done by PP.
It is suggested to start at or near the listed specifications initially. Remember the Pro-Action rear suspension is a coupled design, too low of an initial spring pre-load (or FRA setting), or suspension "set in" can actually make the suspension act stiff by coupling too quickly, and it will also create a "kick" in the rear suspension when riding aggressively. A good starting point is to set the suspension at the initial settings below and then sit on the sled. A good starting point is 3/16" to 1/4" gap to the bottom side of the control rod when sitting on the sled. Remember to keep enough ride height initially and then you can do your fine tuning from there to suit your riding style and speed.
Settings
Spring setting is the length of the spring installed on the shock uncompressed in the sled.
Ski Shock Spring Setting: 10 1/8" (257 millimeters)
Center Shock Spring Setting: 8 3/16" (207 millimeters)
Rear Shock Spring Setting: 14 5/8" (372 millimeters)
Limiter Strap Setting: 1" (25 millimeters)
Control Rod Adjustment: This should be set for the desired amount of weight transfer.
FRA Setting
These are recommended settings only, check the lower gap on the control rod at the housing while sitting on the sled for the correct initial setting.
Position A (up): Up to 185 pounds
Position B (middle): 185 pounds to 230 pounds
Position C (down): Over 230 pounds
