I have an 2002 600 sxr, and this thing rides like a buckboard. I have adjusted front and rear suspensions all over the place. I always feel like I am on a pogo-stick. I cannot achieve an level of comfort. Can anyone help with setup? Or I have been told that the shocks on this unit are very tight, and some have had them rebuilt softer like a vmax 600 er. Is this true? I love this sled, fuel mileage, looks, etc., but am just tired of getting the snot beat out of me on a rough trail. Especially when everyone goes flying by. I couldn't think of going fast, or i would bounce right off the trail.
thanks

Unfortunatly you are limited with the Pro action suspension. BetheViper has a post on how to properly setup the rear suspension, but if you ride agressively in the bumps you still may have to consider replacing the skid.
I have heard that re-valving the shocks can make some improvement, but most of the aggresive riders still seem unhappy.
I purchased a 00 cat skid for less then $250 shipped, and it has made a world of difference. Others have installed Doo and Polaris skids with similar results. This is just an affordable option compared to the $14-1500 M10 or Expert X skids
Good luck in what ever you decide and welcome to the Site
