The Nytro has a bigger displacement than the Apex. I bet that Nytro has bottom end like crazy but its gonn abe cold on the trails. No more Attack though. Did anybody notice there is no weights listed for the new machines? I still think the Apex RTX is the sled for me.

It is renamed to the Apex LTX. Same sled, new name. The naming scheme that Yamaha is using this year makes alot more sense. Only sled dropped from the lineup is the Vector Mountain and Vector Mountain SE. Nytro MTX should be a better sled in every way, so no loss there.
I'm curious on how the Nytro would do against an Apex in a race. I bet in 660' the Nytro will beat the Apex. I'd bet that 130FI motor has some monster torque. Question is, how will the Nytro MTX compare to the Apex MTX in the mountains?

The new Yamaha lineup is AWESOME! I got a chance to test ride a FX Nytro and the new RS Vector in the Delta II (Apex) chassis and both were simply amazing!
Hey Allen, could you really tell the difference weight wise between the Apex and the new Vector. Is the Vector noticeably easier to toss around on the trail?

Guy on HCS said he rode one this past weekend and said it was the best trail sled he's ever ridden. great accel and cornering and soaked up every bump. Pretty vague, take it for what it's worth.
I believe it, the new vector has me the most interested out of the new lineup, I love that motor for trail cruising. No one seems to be talking about it though. I need to upgrade the wifes RX-1 this year, waiting on Allens good word before I run to the dealer!!!

EJ, I did not see what the weight difference between the Apex & RS Vector was or if it lost any weight from last year. I will try to find out ASAP. Already placed my order for a RS Vector LTX!

Thanks Allen, its gotta be a whole bunch lighter than my 05 RX-1, can't wait.
