Anyone have this problem with a 98 SRX. I went riding this week end in fresh powder and the thing wont turn. During slow turns it acts likes its on concrete. Skis turned all the way left on right and the sled goes straight. i notice that it is easy to lift the front end compared to the 99 MM max 700 I have. the track on the SRX only touchs the ground at the front part of the track when its on the trailer. Anybody with some help on with this thing is greatly welcome. Thanks
My 121" srx has never done all that well in loose powder, skis tend to dive under the snow. How is yours doing on hardpack?

Check your strap and see if it's broken. Sounds like weight transfer problem (or no carbides)...
Friend of mine install MPI 151 on SRX and had the same problem. Need to lower rear skid and dial in more ski pressure.

I have a 136 track with simmons skis with good carbides. The front end is light compared to my 99 MM 700. Straps are ok. How do you dial more ski pressure? I just got a Clymer manual today. It doesnt cover the power valve motor though.

Try sucking in the front limiter strap.

You mean make them shorter?
