Greetings TY

While trail riding my 93 Bravo (3200KM total) and almost home, the machine bogged out for a few seconds but came back to normal throttle response. I made it back to the house but she bogged right out and I couldn't start her again. I felt the Ignition Coil and it was fairly hot. Aside, the high tension lead is in very rough shape from wear and tear and my carb/airbox are good to go. I left the machine for about 4 hours and when I returned, she started first pull and I went for a quick, normal response, ride, all appeared normal.

The exact same symptoms happened to me a my 1980 250 Enticer a few years ago. Both scenarios happened while I was coming home and going slower across the hard pack (roads) for a wee bit.

I am suspecting the ignition coil. I once viewed a bunch of used Bravos for sale and a couple of them had spare coils lying in the utility box. Is there a connection? If it is a coil problem, has there been any solutions to keep them from breaking down. i.e. cooling, upgrading, etc?

Thanks
