I just bought a used shock and went to install it and noticed that I was going to have to compress the suspension to get the bolts in, so I compared it and the new used shock is @ 14mm shorter, the body looks the same but the shaft is shorter!! (it also had a shorter & heavier spring) Anyone have any ideals on this?? The spring end goes down right?
it is s short travel shock. Paul

did the same thing last night. took the skid out installed new shock, put in front bolts, rear bolts, then #@!% center bolts wont align. sat down had a beer took rear bolts out, front bolts out........ you get the picture. needless to say im ridding on the old shock till i get another.
