Hey guys, I had thought about the idea for a while and I finally went through with it and got my SRX Power Inc Pipes Ceramic Coated. I ended up going with Jet-Hot for my coating and I am glad I did. When I got my package today I was absolutely amazed and the finish of the coating was past MY expectations. Their turn around time was record speed IMO, I sent my pipes out tuesday morning and 1 week and 6 days later I have them back. Here are some pictures of the pipes and I must say they look even more shiny in person if that is possible. Just had to blurt out about a great company.

Wow, those look pretty sweet. I was planning on having them do my pipes at the end of the season. I'm pretty sure I want mine done now.

Damn ! Maybe I should get that color instead of the copperhead! What did they end up running you? If I can ask!

Wish I wouldn't have looked at this post :( how much is this going to cost me now? Gotta have it! Which coating did you use? Is that the sterling? I don't see the manifolds (head pipes), did you have those done too?

The coating is going to be anywhere from 275-300 for everything plus $30 shipping at least for me. This is the sterling coat from jet-hot. The manifolds I did not have done because I think I am just going to paint them a very high temp blue or something because coming off of a chrome engine, I am not so sure chrome pipes right away are going to look so good. If all else fails I can just get the manifolds chromed for dirt cheap. I still feel that blue will look the best coming off of the engine.

That is a about what they quoted me, 10% off too if I commit in 5 days I think! I am going w/ what you have their. Called them today they told me the sterling is the base coat for all the pipes then they add the color & that the color can get stains from oil, road residue etc Yours looks great.

To date, the pipes have not been installed in the sled yet. The pipes got coated near the end of the year last winter and I was running the Stock pipes for the rest of the year while they were getting coated. When I get my sled all back together this year, I will get pictures with the pipes and everything installed in it. I am excited to see how it looks with the engine and all.

:bling:

Yeah, that sled is going to be the hottest srx i have ever seen. Let me know how well they perform over the non-coated ones. If you dont mind me asking what did you pay for the coating? (PM). i might be looking to do mine also if they perform that much better than un-coated.

My Viper triple - Simmons pipes are in the process as we speak. I'll post pics once done.
I think I will need my shades to few this topic.

Just got mine back from being done-CPR Simmons triple for my MNT Viper (pipes/stingers/exhaust manifolds). Same company (Top Gun in Calgary, Alberta)powder coated my new Ohlin shock for the rear suspension (coil spring from yellow to liquid metallic silver-acid dip to remove rubber paint then powder coated). Looks awesome. I'll post pics when installed this weekend.
