Was out riding today with the ol'lady, and we stopped to take a break...when she tried to start the Viper back up....nothing...... So I just pull started it the rest of the day,I knew the battery was good, because everything was functioning the way it should (and we all know how they act with a dead battery!!)
Anyway,I pulled it in the garage this afternoon to do a little diagnosing, the selonoid goes "click" but nothjing to the starter. Should I just replace the selonoid or should I test the starter??? (starter seems to be free (as in ,not bound up)...
Thanks

Four-wheeler did the same thing to me and it was the battery.... might wanna go out and get it load tested just to make sure. If not it gotta be the starter
You can by pass by the solenoid with jump start cable to check the function

start by cleaning ALL connections batt. and solenoid..
Battery checked out ok,14.2 volts, all connections are spotless, I guess I'll try to jump the starter to see if its working.
