Just wanted to share some photos I took of my first ride in the U.P ever, it was everything i imagined. Nice trails and perfect scenery. Started in Hulbert and rode up to Taquamenon falls which was fantastic to see. Of course, i rode the red sx 700. I took my brother on his Doo 600 triple on lake superior in a side-by-side drag. I had an overall great time up there. enjoy the pictures...

Nice pictures, they are all pretty familiar, the first one being on the side of M-123 north of Newberry, and the last few up at the Falls. Come back soon...

Was there last week end (link http://www.totallyamaha.net/forums/showthread.php?t=36288), that trail between the Newberry park & ride and the first pic must be all dirt by now, it was real thin a week ago. Nice pics and hope you get back up there when there is more snow. -Ed

Sheermadness, we stayed about 5 min. from that shirleys tavern place in Hulbert, i guess there was a "girls gone wild" deal there Sat. night, i missed it.. :o|

Do they still feed the deer there? Freaked me out first time ther & the guy went out & rang the feed bell for them.

Do you guys remember the Tumble Inn from when it was rockin?

they sure do, most homes up there have timed feeders so the deer know when to come. I guess the DNR has had some difficulties on this issue. Personally, i dont think its a good idea because they are wild animals and should be keep that way.

Missed it? how did that happen? Hey, I see your from GR, do you ever make over to the dunes in the summer? Just wondering, we're there quite often. ;)! -Ed

I'll be there for opening day, April 1st. We'll be rolling into town Friday night 3-30-07 and coming home Monday 4-2-07. We'll be there for all 3 big holiday week ends and the whole week for the 4th of July. There will be many other "off" week ends we'll be there too. Just look for my green 77 F-150 when your there and if you see us stop and say hi. ;)! -Ed

cool, cant really miss a truck like that. Looks like it just came off the factory floor-soo clean! I'll probably be up there on the same dates as you, the big "holiday" weekends.
I just recently blew up my 89' banshee which im parting out now to gain back the money i have invested into it, and about a month ago i picked up a *cover your ears* a 1984 honda 200x three wheeler. It should be a fun time up there this season...
