Hey guys I just got done setting my powervalves and I noticed a lack in power and rpms only going to 7900 rpm so I took off the pipes tonight and I have a valve that I think pulled through. I used the yamaha method of setting them. I now need to know if I infact pulled it through and need to order another one or get one from someone on here. So could any tell me if this is pulled through!!!!!!!!!!!!! It figures, we are suppose to get 20+ inches of snow this weekend and now I will be without a sled if I don't get this fixed. Furthermore does the valve usually go or do the cables break? What did I do wrong???? Please someone help!?!?!??!?!?!?!!!!!!! :o| :o| :o| I pulled on the cable end just a little bit so I know that I have not snapped the cable. I also only have about 300 miles since I cleaned the valves so it is not because they are dirty.

Ya it definately looks pulled through, my middle cylinder did the same to me, looked much the same. The dealer didnt have any in stock at the time so he ran some weld on it for me so i was able to run it for the weekend until they got the part in. From my understanding the cable always pulls through the valve because of the hardened end on the cable. However while ya have it apart ya may as well check all the cables.

check the rest out and cable ends and post a wanted add.
should be alot of 600 stuff around..

if you did it right with yammies way i cant see them beeing to tight
that way is looser than flush..

I think i have a couple viper powervalves at home if you need one. Let me know.

lol, i thought you needed a viper valve. I guess i didnt notice that you had a 600 srx. Viper valve wouldn't work in there anyway :o|
