I was wondering if I have to worry about burning up my 03 SXViper if I put an aftermarket can on. Also I am looking to upgrade my suspension both front and back. I jump my sled pretty hard (last jump I built was a 100 feet to the landing) so I need something tough. I also think I am going to paint my hood. Any help would be appreciated. I will post pics of my sled and that jump as soon as I can.

You aren't going to burn up your sled if you put a can on, but you will lose some horsepower, and will see a drop in rpms. As for the suspension, yea you can definately do MUCH better than the stock suspension for jumping. Best thing to do would probably be to put on an AD Boivin Expert X suspension which is much more suited to that environment. For the fronts, a set of Ohlins PRC's or PRX's will go very well, or even fox floats.

how hard would it be to mount a AD Boivin suspension under my viper. Also any ideas on where I can find Fox Floats for a viper. Every where I look says they only have them for the new models.
