Speed Track Tension

I installed a new speed track and with 22lbs and 1 inch gap when i launch from a stand still the track rachted. Do you need to run a speed track tighter? I'm going to tighten the track more tonight but i'm afraid that the track might be to tight and i will get faster hyfax wear. For speed tracks do you run them tighter?

With alot of traction you will always need more track tension. Other ways to relieve track ratcheting. 1. Adjust limiter strap length (shorter). 2. Adjust transfer rod gap (less gap on top side).

Do you think i should just keep the 1inch gap at 22lbs and ajust the limiters traps and the transfer rod gap or tighten the track at 22lbs with a 1/2 inch gap

I run mine witha speed track with 3/4 inch hanging. But I have my limiters shortened and the rear shock is shortened and little transfer.
