Just a few quick questions here..hopin someone will chime in. 8dn-20,51/43,4.5 outter,3.6 inner w/green sec. gwg primary. Now the engagment is around 3,900-4,000 sled bounces up to 8,700 and rises to 8,800 then back down to 8,700 and holds it there. Tried wrapping the secondary at 70 but still not much diffrence and I dont really want to tune it in with the secondary because 60 wrap has enough back shift for me for my style riding. Now on colder days 15-20 the sled has no trouble turning 8,800-8,900 and holding it there..i know this is because its jetted for 0-20 and makes more power throwing the weight faster. Should I jet, take some weight out of inner hole,or leave it as is?Will the inner hole bring down rpms on top? Sled actually seemed quicker with it wrapped at 60 but i'll wait to see what you guys think before I tear into the primary for the 124324 time..thanks

i have a 54/42 and red spring and had a top end over revign problem to 8900-9000.

taking heel weight out ( any weigth out) will raise your rpm

I added tip weight ( 5.5g bolts from Hauck) and got the rpm down to 8500
but seems a little less snappy on the bottom end. also seems that the 1/2 throttle rpm is lower for the same given speed as before i added the tip weight. like in a higher gear.

I may look for a steeper finish angle ( closer to stock 47) to get it to shift more on top end without the added tip weight which seems to be less responsive on bottom end......
always seems to be a compromize. the compound helix is suppose to make the best of both worlds, I just don't know if there is a 51-54 range initial angle for faster initial shifting, and also a 47 finish to prevent under shifting on the top end that seems to come from the shallow angles???.
