m10 airwave warning UP DATE
whent for a ride tonight ,,,, 2up on the venture , not good . the airwave cannot carry the load . very nice one up but not 2. i will call fast and let then know . i think a larger dia. air bag whould do it. 2 sq in more suface area at 80 psi = 160 pound load increase . note i sent a e mail off to them and i will see what comes up with this to work on a 2up machine
. DID SOME CECKING ON THIS . 1 PULLED THE LIMITER STRAP 1 NOTCH LOOSER. MOVED REAR ARM BACK AND DOWN 1/2 IN THIS LOOKS LIKE IT WILL WORK MUCH BETTER NOW . it mainly due to its a universal mount that makes very hard to figure out . the install inst. were not so great. but now when i put the air to it its very hard to bottom it .

Glad you figured it out, one of my co workers put one of those setups in his rx-1 and said the directions were poor also.He does seem to really like the ride though and the handling is much better after putting a limiter strap on.

I had the same thing happen on my conventional m-10. It states in the manual that the skid is set up specifically for rider weight and any change in weight will need an adjustment of the FRA. Not sure if the manual states that with the airwave or not...
