anyone try taking there viper hood vents out?? and if it changed the jetting??
Are you refering to the black "forced air induction" vents?
If so, I have some that I cut so the air directly feeds into the air filter area. However I only use them for drag racing. Tried them once for normal riding and they just dumped a bunch of snow on top of the air filter, and iced it up.
So I use the stock ones for normal riding.
Not sure how much effect it has on jetting, but I assume it leans it out some. For 500' drags, works ok though.
