Anyone have good used SRX exhaust donuts that go from the can to the ends of the pipe, number 15 on the '01 yamaha catalog.......$30 each!!!! Anyone use gasket sealer around the old ones, mine are ugly but not that ugly!!!!$30 each...... if these were on an American made car they'd be about $8 bucks each!!!!! I did dump the $12 plus each for the ones by the manifold. Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know if you will find good used donuts.Wouldn't reley on used ones anyways.I got 3 from my dealer at about $20 ea plus taxes. On my SXR they are larger donuts and they were $40 plus each.Because I buy a lot from my dealer,he is starting to give me a discount on parts,I tried exhaust silicone, but didn't last long.Good for real minor seals maybe, but not if donut is really deformed.

the 3 by the engine are more important, obviously, and are is worse shape. The 3 expensive ones by the can are in ok shape, but I'm picky and I hate having problems, but at the cost.............Well, none were/are leaking I just have the pipes and canister out to put on a reverse kit and noticed they look less than perfect.

Egad! I thought I was getting ripped off at $17 at Dave's in Cadillac. Guess I better shut my mouth before he finds he misquoted me and my deal goes away.
Anybody ever try high temp silicone and aluminum foil? I had that thought while I was riding this weekend. The foil will come close to sealing and the silicone will finish the job. Has anyone tried something like this?
