What are the stock setting on these (I have a 700SX)
When I took the carbs apart it had 3 different scenarios,
2 washers above, 1 washer above/below and 2 washers below.

TIA

On my SXR600, the stock setting is #3 which means the metal clip goes on the third groove with BOTH plastic washers underneath the clip. #3.5 would be the metal clip on the fourth slot with one washer above and one below (the one above doesn't really do anything, it just a place to store it).

Hope the attached pic helps.

P.S. you count the grooves from the top down

on a 700sx,sxr700,mtnmax700, you will achieve alot better performance by running the clip in number 3 with both washers on top of the clip in all 3 cylinders. The run 142.5 mains in all 3 cylinders. This is good to 15 below 0, no problem, makes the sled alot crisper response. Reed spacers with this just adds the icing to the cake.

My 1997 700SX is not stock, it has Power Inc rear dump triples, Vforce reeds, spacers and Dial a jets. I am running 143.8 mains with the DAJ set at #3, 47.5 pilots and the needles richened a half clip on the PTO and center cylinder. Got any tips for this setup?

mrviper700; what elevation is this jetting good for? I ride near sea level at cold temps. (I know this jetting is not for my sled)
Thanks

that set up is for 0-2000ft, this was in a guys engine I did a couple years ago and he rode it up in Canda at 20 below zero and was fine. Those engines are low compression, very rich jetting from the factory.

I see. Thanks :) How much fatter should you go if you have a hauck head gasket kit?
