I got home from a ride lifted the hood to check oil and found this oil splattered in the bay. Most of it landed on the top part of the shock towers each side. Photo shows. Is this basically normal? I'm new to viper and just wondering. Thanks A.J

look at the bottoms of the power valve blocks where the cables go in, there is a weep hole on the bottom of them, this is where the oil will drip from if the seal and o-rings on the powervalve start to get worn.

Mr Viper 700

That is where it appears to be coming from by looking. Question? Can I put a few more miles on this before I fix it or fix it first? I might have 100 miles left in me before the trails here die out for the year. Or should I be done?

Thanks for your fast response. A.J

ya, you can finish out the winter, wont hurt anything except youll need to wash out the engine bay this summer, ride it!!!
