98 Vmax 600 that just will not run smooth at low RPM's or while under load below 1/2 throttle. It appears to run on one cylinder, re-coil plug wetter thatn other. It also SUCKS the fuel (6mpg). Once you get past the low RPM's this sled ROCKS. I have only had sled for 2 weeks, not sure how long this has been a problem.
So far I have read the FAQ's and searched the prior posts and done the following:
Any other suggestions?
Should I adjust the idle mixture or leave at factory settings?
Thanks in advance for the Help!

new plugs
completely disassembled the carbs and cleaned EVERY hole in jets, etc. TWICE
idle mixture screw is set to standard 1 1/2 turns
fresh fuel
fresh oil
jets and clip are set at stock (151.3 & position 2)
I just picked up a loaner coil which I will try tonight

check ur clutches for worn rollers, weights, broken springs, and bottons. all these and contribute to a bad shift wich will put more load on the motor.

do compression check,if one is weak it will run ok at higher rmp. the wet plug is the cylinder thats not pulling its weight. if you dont have a compression gauge just keep the plugs in it and pull recoil slowly.you should be able to tell if the is a differance in compression when each cylinder rolls over compression stroke. thump-thump
