Great looking site, this is my first post here. I don't know a heck of a lot about sleds...
I'm having a problem with my 2000 SX700R. When I'm pulling my ice fishing sled in deep powder, the engine will periodically rev high without me applying more throttle, as if something is slipping. The track is not spinning faster when this happens. I initially thought this was probably just a burnt belt/slipping issue, so I cleaned the secondary (there was a ring of residue low in the secondary), and put on a new belt. Didn't help. Any advice on where I go from here?
The guy I bought my sled from told me that he put a clutch kit on it....I'm trying to contact him to find out the specifics.
