Red secondary spring with yellow paint on it.......

Can anyone tell me what the specs are on this spring? I bought it from Bender and they just said it was called an offset red/yellow spring, it's very stiff, tha'ts all I know, I want one a little softer from yamaha and wondered what the spec was, I don't even think it's a yamaha spring, but it's used on them by bender, the old crowd..
