I want to try another suspension on my 02 Viper that will bolt in without too much trouble.....hopefully to improve suspension the longer rides...any recommendations???
I picked up a used Cat skid on ebay and intalled it. Works great and not to much in the way of modifacation. I ride pretty agressive and it handles much better then I could ever get the pro-action skid to ride. Others have used Doo and Polaris skids with good results also.
Heres a link to the intsall.

All depends on your spending limits and riding style. The $200-$800 range you have lots of options, Doo, Poo, Cat, and some M10's. Then theres the $800+ skids M10, M12, AIRWAVE, and ExpertX. Ive been seeing M10's going on ebay for real cheap so if I were you thats where I'd keep an eye out at.

I've had both an M10 and Expert X and they both make it an entirely different sled, Really worth the investment.

Polaris edge on my RX coming from a pro- action and WOW it just soaks up bumps, I still quench the ole rear end when I'm flying up to a bump and then find out nothing, not even a hint of a bump. Simply amazed how the stock yamaha skid could be so BAD compared to this edge. I will have a edge on every yamaha I own now untill the monoshock gets down to that price range. The mono is every bit as good I guess and weighs a lot less.
