Hi, any thoughts on a good suspension upgrade for a 2000 sxr the stock susp. has to go was thinking of a polaris edge or a pro active out of an 05 vector theres better suspensions out there but dont want to exceed the value of the sled, like a m 10 or mono shock, any ideas? sled still runs like new handles great but on the rough stuff i let an 380 rev pass me because i couldnt take any more abuse....i usually ride with 1 hand so its more like a bull ride, its getting really old, thanks for your help.
go with a cat, poo,or doo skid.

you need a stiffer rate center spring when riding hard, soften up the rear spring preload, keep your control rod gaps closer together....what do you weigh?...CP
when i bought the sled 185 now 225 still rides rough maybe its shock valving thought of sending them to pioneer to remedy it but now thinking of a different brand suspension or i hate to say it the new rev looks pretty good... and light! 425lbs for an 800, if it only holds together, i remember team green doing something similar with the f cats in 03 and had trouble.
well i heard the edge suspension is very nice, i know a couple people that put them in their sleds. they had a srx, xcr, ultra. they noticed great comfort, better trail riding for bumps and over-all better than the stock.
