What is the longest chisel stud that can be put into a 9811 Camo speed track with out interference with the tunnel or heat exchangers on a Yamaha Viper? Thanks, Clark

Pro are you running those 120's on a 9811 Camo in a SRX(about the same clearance as a VIPER)?

I'm using extrovert drivers and like to run my track on the loose side...should I go with 1060's? Thanks for the input.

Hey clark this is Eric with the viper from manton. I would use 1.060's with your viper. With 9 tooth drivers you will have clearance issues with 1.200's. Some use 8 tooth drivers and run 1.200's but i hate the idea of 8 tooth drivers, too tight of a bend for me. Also 1.200's tips back more that 1.060's because the 1.200's have more leverage than the 1.060's, thus less traction overall. You will hook up fine with 192 1.060 chisels. Run woody's angled backers also. It helps a bunch. Hopefully this helps you out. Hope to see you at cadillac if they still have it. We got a new toy that I think you will like....1000cc....450lbs....2-stroke....well I guess you will have to come to caddy to see it.

Eric I'll be there for Cadillac. I bought woody's angle backer but they seem to stick out above the tread on a 9811...did you trim your backers down a little? Could you send me some pictures from Lake City? Thanks every one for the info.

I will send you some pics later today. I left my backers alone because you will never even get to you lugs on hard ice. You can't push a chisel in the ice that far. Thats why i dont understand why people run 1.200's.

sorry I haven't sent the pics yet having trouble finding them. Now on your backer which ones are they. When I say angled backers I mean Woody's angled backers, not the bender mates. The woody's plate tilts the stud forward 7 degrees. and the bender mate just hold the stud up straight by useing thew grouser bar. the wwoody's are the ones to have. Cross your fingers for cadillac!
