I was riding my '98 srx and noticed that when i went wide open a cylinder would go down and it would only pull about 7800. anything under tight to the bar and it was hitting on all 3. I shut it down to check the plugs which were ok (except for a wet one which i'm assuming is the cylinder that took a crap) and went to start it back up and nothing. I'm running 130 lbs per cylinder and its getting gas so I by passed both the kill switch and key and still nothing. there is some spark but obviously not enough to get the engine to run. My plug caps snap on good, but when i ohmed the ignition coils I found that the secondaries were in spec (.4 ohms i beleive) but the primaries were off on all 3 11.4k ohms on 2 cylinders and 16.9 on the other. Spec I beleive is 5.4k ohms to 7.4. is this the problem? and if so how could all 3 go down at the same time, is there something greater at work here? Thanks for the input.
