2001 SXR600, Bender triple pipes, M10 Suspension, Carbon Tech Reeds, spacers, 11,173 km on her.
94.6 MPH (GPS), Plus 4 degrees C. Not bad I'd say. -20 and it would have been better!!! Over 100 MPH for sure.
Trails are just about done now. Plus 10 degress C on Monday. Oh well there is always next year!!!

not done for me yet.Hitting well over 100mph at 35 degrees F.And getting there fast, with ski's lifted off the snow yet.LOL Put 70 miles on today. Finally got my clutching dead on tonight, will see higher speeds tommorrow.Got a couple spots where I can do testing, where it is very smooth. It's not over until you put the sled thru the ice I say. Then it's over Len.LOL

sorry to hear that, and it is melting here good to.Well anyways put on 30 miles today at 42 degrees F, got her up to 105mph.Could all be over, but there is always a chance of a March Blizzard yet.We had that big Blizzard in 1997 in April which shut the entire city down for a while. After that we had the flood of the century to contend with.My house is high up,water around me was 9 feet deep, saved my house at least.

Hey Blue,
You'll have to get a GPS and find out what your REAL mph is. The speedos are not accurate.
I think the radar runs next Saturday are history unless I trailered to them. The trails will be mud by then.
Oh well, put on 2100 Km this season on a new Ultimax 3 belt with NO problems at all. I think you'd better check you SXR's clutch alignment. Hey did you ever get the Ultimax 3 replacement belt?? I was going to buy it off of you remember????
Fuel mileage is better now that I've re-jetted and drop the needles back to stock. Will probably pull the motor and rebuild it top to bottom in the off season so she's fresh for next year.
Too bad we didn't get a chance to ride together this season.
Cheers,
Len

I am the LONE MONSTER.I travel alone...LOL.Next year for sure. Was to busy wrenching on the SRX.Len you have a M10 suspension on yours, would like to put one on the SRX.Would it be complicated to do.Also will get a new track and maybe C&A's for up front. It all costs money, but I can get what I want at least to put on my sled.Still way cheaper then buying a new sled.Wildwood Yamaha for example told me that the ne Nytro FX will be going for about $14,000.00 retail. That is crazy. For about $3000.00 can do a lot to my SXR or SXR.My SXR is basically done up already, great ditchbanger.Might have one last chance to ride.Getting cooler for Thursday,Friday and Saturday.Calling for flurries Thursday..lets hope for 1 more kick at the can so to speak.Later!

The install of the M10 is time consuming but not really "difficult. It is easily the best investment I've made so far. I never bottomed out once all season and I hit some real doozies!!! With the Ohlins shocks and remote resevoir adjustment it was easy to dial it in. I can still probably make some further adjustments to make it even better. Next year.
Check with Rich at RichMotorsports and see what a M10 with Ohlins is now that it is the end of season. You might even want to consider their new "Airwave" version. Looks really impressive and has gotten great reviews.
I take it you never sent the Ultimax3 back for replacement????

I wonder what my 600 SX was going on radar when the speedo said 180km/h. I also had an M-10 with 1.25" six pitch predator with PI end dumps and typically saw anywhere between 170 - 180 on a super smooth road. Always wondered what I was actually doing. Seems you got it pretty good if it was +4!
As far as the M-10 goes, it's a great riding skid. I knew it made a difference installing it, but wasn't sure how much better it actually was until i got my SRX and started riding the Pro-Action again. I'm seriously wondering whether to install the M-10 in the SRX or not, I want weight transfer, I want top speed, but I dont want to be beat up in the whoops, the M-10 only satisfies 1 of those areas but its hard to turn down. I have the M-10 with the base package shocks.
Installing the skid isn't hard at all really, they make it very easy with the template and the install instructions here on the site also. Reading the manual can get confusing until you look on the tech pages and see a picture. Overall I think it took me about 8 hours total to install myself with a little help from dad (mostly his tools lol). The only downside is if you ever decide to part with the sled you're putting it in (my case), you have all sorts of rivets to drill out, support plates to remove, and support plates to replace that you had to either remove or ruin to get everything to sit nicely and then you're left with a tunnel that looks like a screen door. I guess it makes for good weight savings!

I will keep my SRX for ever.Slowly want to improve on it and get it to the best condition it can be.Suspension is #1 and go from there.Just don't know if I could install a M10 properly without a little
words.LOLWill look into it.I know a guy in Ontario who has some suspensions to sell, will check it out.
PS:Temps falling in the next couple of days and calling for flurries Thurs and Friday. In the minus temps.Could still be riding this weekend.
