Can you put a 1.250 ripsaw studded under a 1997 yamaha sx 700 without changing drivers?

I have a 1.25" ripsaw on my 97 600 sx. No clearance issues. Dunno how it would be with studs, if I studded mine I would really be careful with track tension and definately add some tunnel/heat exchanger guards...
I think right now I am sitting with just about an 1.5" clearance.

The ripsaw 1.25 will fit with NO studs.
If you stud it, you will have to change your drivers to 8 tooth and then you should install tunnel and front heat exchanger protectors. Also with the smaller drivers you are changing your gear ratio a bit. Only way to correct that is to change your gears.

i had a rip saw on my sx for a year. i think you could stud it but it would be extremely close. i loved the track. right now i have a .5 lug with 1.25 inch studs. this is why i say you could stud a rip saw

That is the clearance between the lug of the track and the front heat exchanger.
