Color Rite
When I bent my left trailing arm a couple of months ago, my dealer told me about this place Color Rite (this page is for a 2003 viper but you can input your make and model for exact info). It's the company that supplies the paint for Yamaha and has codes for many models. I found it to be a little on the expensive side. So, I used Rust-Oleum metallic paint. Silver metallic #7271 at $5.19 per 11oz. aerosol can (only used about half the can). Color matches VERY close as no one could tell after the repair. -Ed

hey daman I am looking into the same thing. I haven't had any luck yet. My sled is fixed after the tree incident, lol but it left the arms with alittle less paint.. they needed touch up anyway... where you looking to take the whole front end off and repaint everything or are you going to just touch up with it all together??

I thought of doing what you all were talking of, but had my whole front suspension powdercoated instead. It looks awsome and is much more durable than paint. The color is very similar to the yamaha silver, just with a little more metallic. If anybody ever has this done just make sure they plug all holes, it would be a nightmare if you did'nt.All mine were and it was still a little tricky dealing with as this coating makes everything a little thicker. It only cost me 12 bucks to have a place in Traverse city do it, Wheelock and sons welding the place is called.Just something to think about when you consider what your gonna pay for touch up paint.
