For all you can lovers out there that would like to keep your aftermarket can on and still be cluctched to stock this is what I found that works.
I still run my stock can but have a MBRP trail can for my viper. With stock can my ctutching is bang on adn when i put my MBRP can on i was only reving 8100 at WOT. Niticed somthing though as the temp changed(can cooled off or warmed up) my rpm changed. I looked at the can and thought maybe it is not holding in the heat so on the body of the can i put 2 layers of exhaust header wrap. And vola small overrev till the can warms up (1 to 2 wot runs) then the clutching is bang on. Clutching stays bang on as long as the sled is running. Once I shut it down and it cools a bit over rev is back, let the can warm up and it is gone.
I can now switch my MBRP can and stock can back and forth with no change in clutching and no noticable change in hp.
