Boy i got my shoes on and went to the garage just for you!!!..lol
with my calipers i got 19.52mm,kinda hard because there's a taper
on the cyl. side kinda gota gestamate on where to measure from.
at least you got the blue head right..LOL
good luck!!!!

cool thanks guys, is the measurement the same on the top of flange as bottom, or are they angled up a bit. thanks Jay

It's angled up a little, i checked it right in the middle but i think you;ll
be close enough..

hmmm ok so which is it 3/4" (19.52mm) or 7/8, Im a perfectionist and wanna make sure its perfect so if someone can give me top and bottom measurements i would be greatfull.
also are they angled at all to the sides.

I'll check again in the morning...
But i'd trust a caliper over a T/M,,no offence flying yami..

The casting is kinda like my red drawing has a tapper to it....

ok so you figure if i just go 3/4 and make them perpendicular to my cyl it would be ok sense the douhnuts will make up for the agles.
tryed to take my header off, and 2 of the nuts were stripped from the previous owner, and one of my studs broke. I think the hardest part of this conversion is gona be getting that frickin thing off. I even soaked them in mouse milk and used heat.

Right, the douhnuts will make up for some of the agle.
i don't understaind why guy's strip them bolts, there easy to get off
except the #1 cyl. uper right side as your looking at the front of the
engine, but as long as you have a 1/4" drive with a swivel you can
get it.....

Where to measure from
I would think that you would want to take these measurements from the piston skirt......isn't that the only thing that would be consistent between the SRX and the Viper? Also, Why don't you talk to someone like MRVIPER700 and ask him. He could also probably give you some ideas about shortening up that headpipe to increase compression slightly and thus improve performance. Just my .02

the flanges need to be angled up from the cylinder. if not the head pipe wont clear the frame.
call me at work tomorrow and i can give exact measurements from the flange.
the manifold ends up very tight on the pto side to the frame. if it is off a little it can hit.
