Vintage Oval Racing *Video*

Here is another video of our vintage racing from this past weekend. The conditions were very lousy with temps in the low to mid 40's but it was still fun in all. We spent all morning trying to get the GPX running right but to no prevail. Thanks to Monty we found out that when we were running the sled, the timing on the magneto was off. This could contribute to all of the problems we were having. We had a nasty bog off the line and when the track got beat up by the end of the day, water was everywhere. Not really anticipating this pool of water at the turns, we were running open carbs on the sled so the motor cut out on us every turn. It was the last race of the year but the sled can definitely handle and we should get it going good for next year. All other sleds ran pretty well and I am not really at liberty to discuss what happened to me on the 250 Final. LOL You wouldn't believe how pissed I was but ended up not effecting my points in that class. The 340 went undefeated this year! Enjoy the Vid
