I've seen this advertised on the Mountain Performance website and was thinking about adding it to a 136" Viper I just bought. Has anyone on here tried one of these on a 121-136" proaction Yamaha? I ride a combination of trails and off trail and my main concern is how much it will affect handling when I'm on trails. Will it transfer too much and cause a lot of ski lift? Is there an easy way to adjust to compensate when you switch from trail to off trail riding?

someone correct me if im wrong, but i would think that that trail would not be very suitable for trails because of issues with putting too much stress on the w-arm. We already have huge problems with w-arms holding together when running a lot of weight transfer and hitting big bumps, i would think having unlimited weight transfer (no control rods) would only amplify this problem.

i understand about the possible w-arm problems
is there anyone on here that has tried the transfer enhancement kit on a 136 viper on the trails....i'm looking to make mine more off trail friendly but still ride trails to get there ...any suggestions

I dont know first hand, but I bought my transfer kit from a guy on here that had it on a trail sled. He said the ski's were pointed at the sky the whole time and it was just too much. He only had it on for one day.

I had it on mine, and you can adjust it so the skis are only off the ground 6 inches. it really works great, if you take the time to under stand how it works, and you reset your suspension to work with it. Maxdlx

I ran a homemade version for 2 winters here in MN. It took a little getting used to, but I didn't have any problems with it.
My only complaint was when I'd line up on the lake for a little friendly drag race action. The thing would hook up hard and stand the sled straight up in the air. It looked cool, but wasn't very effective for going fast in a straight line.

I have 1 on a 01 MM. It is a 141"
As Maxdlx says it can be adjusted to keep ski lift under control.
It would no doubt require total suspension recallibration for on trail.
All I adjusted was the transfer kit and front limiters to get the transfer I
was looking for. The front shock will bottem on rough trail. It no doubt could
be adjusted to stop this. It is not practical for me as 99% of my riding is
off trail POW.
Sniper did you get your reverse kit. If you want to PM me your address I have a video on proaction rear suspensions. If it is not copyright protected I
could send you a copy.
