Help Painting Hood

I am going to paint my viper hood and I was wondering if there is anyone else out there that has done this. I was wondering what type of paint to use. If possible I would like to do this by myself. Thanks

I used black laquer spray cans. It took a lot of time but seems to be holding up well. I'm going to do another hood this summer in white.

Just like painting a car, You can paint them any way you want.
Here is mine.

It helps if your wife is an airbrush artist!
Installed.

I had mine clear coated,sanded and cleared again at a body shop for $60.

If your gona paint your hood do it white with blue flake if your sled is blue. I white viper would be sweet

I painted it black just like yours concept carbon. I am looking into some winter camo graphics. I will post some pics as soon as I am done.

well... I got a few threads about my hood that someone else did in town for me, Looks wicked on a bright, sunny blue day! the sparkles really shine! heres a pic

That looks pretty sweet. I am not sure what I am going to do with my windshield. I can't find any that I like so I will probably make my own. I am also putting a pretty sweet handlebar setup on it.
