hood repair question

03 viper mtn. hood is cracked at the hood latch area on the pipe side (do to a rollover).who has the lowdown on some body shop glue, adhesive, or repair ideas or suggestions? just want to keep it from breaking any farther.

you'll need a good epoxy and a backing plate of some kind to re-inforce that area from behind.I have used some very good epoxies that really work good on plastic and fibreglass.You'll find them in your local hardware stores.

I think that hood is plastic.

the hood reinforcements/reflectors stiffen the sides up alot, ditto the backing plate with maybe some rivets and washers depending on what the damage is.
