It will all bolt on as the chaincases and such are all the same. You will just have to watch the clearance on the muffler, you may have to adjust the backside of the muffler.....dead blow hammer.
Heres a link to a post where guys did it themselves:

Yes it will fit, been there, done that. You want the Viper kit thats part # 8EK to keep the saem gearing. You replace the chaincase internals, reuse your chain. You also replace the chaincase cover with the new one, you will have to cut/grind off the 2 tabs that stick out on the new one. You also need to hack up the shifter mount, for lack of a better term, to fit around the coolant bottle, other interferences. You still end up having to shim out the whole mechanism about an inch from the block where it bolts on. Just use longer bolts and spacers/washers. You also slot the muffler mount hole so you can slide it all the way outboard as far as it will go. Mine also interfered on the park brake arm down at the bottom, so I drilled a new hole in the arm for the cable end, and cut off about 1" off the arm. Can't go any more, or you decrease the effective throw of the arm too much, and it won't actuate the brake. it's a tight fit, but it will go! Then you notch the hood for the shifter, refill the chaincase, and your good.
I'm going to pul mine aprt this summer to replace the little springs between the reverse gears, and try a 68 link chain, I will take a bunch of pics and do a Tech write-up. Hard to explain how you have to cut/cope the shifter mount without pics.

One more thing how do I define this 8ek kit my srx is a 01 and the viper is an 02 are the gearing the same
Both those sleds are geared 23/38 stock, reverse or not.
You have 2 options as far as gearing with the reverse kit. The 8EK kit will give you stock gearing.
The part #'s you want are:
38T Hyvo reverse kits is: 8EK-W4759-10-00 REVERSE GEAR KIT
39T Hyvo reverse kits is: 8EN-W4759-00-00 REVERSE GEAR KIT
You re-use your stock top gear and your 70L chain.
When you're finished, it takes 250ml of oil.
