new old sled

[mid 90's v-max's]

I have been a Yamaha guy my whole life. Owned a few phazers, srv's, 93 v-max 4 in the past and currently own a 96 xt and a 95 w/ xt rear suspension. Also own an 800 triple pantera as a touring sled when with the kids. I have the need for even more speed but don't want to spend a ton of dough on a rocket sled. The decision is a v-max 4 800 or a thundercat 1000. Found a 4 with an m10 on e bay and also looking at a 99 1000 t-cat. I definatly prefer the Yamaha all day but this will be a lake racer/railroad grade rocket. Opinions?

i vote vmax 4, or find a good used srx for around the same $$.....i hate cats.....
