secondary clutch question???

Can you run the secondary clutch on a SX/MM without the adjustment screws on the back? Need to make sheave's closer together and cannot find spacers at the local dealer???

Is your belt that wore out?? i don't see a problem with it....

trying to adjust to the cordline on an ultimax XS belt. Got the right belt just need to bring sheaves closer together?

FN dealer never had 8dn so went to Rec supply, that is ALL they had, I'm starting to steam now...What's the problem????

I think Turk is saying that's not a good belt to run,stick with OEM...

I know it may be a dumb question but can I or can't I run the secondary without the adjusment bolts? Or do I just need to find the proper shims to use?

You can run it the way it is but it will be a litlle doggy on low end. that belt will also drop rpm,s 2-400 vs the 8dn belt.
