any thoughts guy's????

thanks!!!!

DMAN, THE SHIM IS A RPM SHIM THAT GOES UNDER COVER FOR MORE PRE-LOAD. THIS HELPS RAISE ENGAGEMENT. THE SPRING IS A YAMAHA YELLOW-BLUE-YELLOW SHORT COVER SPRING. PART # IS 90501-55607-00 !! 3:16 (yammie tony)

Thanks Tony, yea i knew it was a shim just wanted to make sure, well
at least i know it ain't stock set up.

thinking i may put the WWW primary spring in,i really don't like
how this one revs., pinned it will go right to 8350-8400 and clime to 85-8550, i would rather it not shoot that high when first pinned???

THIS FOR YOUR SRX ? ANYWAYS W-W-W WORKED GOOD. WITH THAT SHIM THOUGH YOUR ENGAGEMENT MIGHT BE A TAD HIGH. ALWAYS REMEBER, YOU CAN FINE TUNE THAT RPM WITH HELIX,s , SHALLOWER THE FINISH WILL RAISE RPM. !! 3:16 (yammie tony)

yes my SRX,

No sorry Tony the engagement isn't that high thats like 3500ish, i'm
talking from a slow rolling start pinning it then, sorry about that..

so keep this shim in when i put my WWW in or take it out???

W-W-W WILL BE AROUND 4500. IF YA ADD SHIM , PROBLEY ANOTHER 200. ITS UP TO YOU WHAT YA LIKE. NOW YOU KNOW WEIGHTS ARE HUGE FACTOR HERE, BUT I WOULD THINK THAT 39 FINISH IS PART OF YOUR RPM SHOOTING UP. YOU HAVE ANY HELIX,S THAT HAVE AFEW DEGREES STEEPER FINISH. YOUR REALLY NOT FARR OFF. 3:16 (yammie tony)

yea i wouldn't want 45 ingagement maybe i'll try a WWW without the shim.
no i wish i did,maybe look for a 40 or a 41 finish??

Also FYI my secondary has a silver wraped at 70,dunno maybe that
silver secondary is hurting me too..

SILVER PROBLEY HELPING YA. ESPECIALLY WITH A 39 FINISH. PROBLEY BE WORSE WITH THE OTHERS. IF YA CAN. TRY A WWW WITH NO SHIM, GO TO GREEN SPRING IN SECONDARY, INCRESE TWIST TO 80 DEGREE AND FIND A HELIX AFEW DEGREES STEEPER ON FINISH. STAY WITH 51 INTINAL , THAT WORKS BEST ON SRX. !! 3:16 (yammie tony)

Yellow Spring

I Have A Been Visitor For Years But No Post
Great Site
Yellow Spring Is An Early (short Cover) Bender Spring
Start Rate Is 50 Finish Is 98
Since This Spring Was Made For The Short Cover Spacers Were
Used To Make To Act Like To Is Installed In A Short Cover Primary
Some Are + -
Seems You Guys Are Great At Clutching So You Can See That This Spring Cant Pull That Helix
Orange Bender Was Used In Later Kits And May Work 55 Start 135 Finish

:wel: , and thanks for your post, i have a orange that i got off another
twin but my ingagment was to high didn't like it....

but maybe i'll try it in this..

Thanks,

i checked my orage spring i think it's a Bender too and it's a short one
just like this yellow one..

Bender Orange Spring Is Longer Than The Bender Yellow Blue
The Yamaha Spring That Is Closest Is Gr-wh-gr
The W-w-w Will Just Be A Little Softer On Top 119 Vs 136
But Is Still A Good Choice With That Hilix Depending On Rivits
If It Will Help All These Specs Are In An Older Bender Catalog (2002)
Or I Can Try To Copy Them And Post
