We had to go do some riding up in Northern Iowa a few weeks back and look what happends. Even tho the yamaha was atleast at a 6" drift disadvantage, it clearly outshines the cat by 3'.

Please notice the cat is on its downward decent from the drift already and the yamaha is still soring with the eagles above.... :dunno:

LOL, nice jump, it does also appear the Yamaha is taking a look around during its' flight while the cat just wants back on the ground. That looks like it was a fun jump. How fast were you hitting it? looks like you could get some huge air off that one with some big speed and stay flat at the same time. Dem Yammies like to fly, mainly, cuz they don't like the landings. That's just how I whip my horse into shape.

That was on the north side of Monona. We road up to Harpers Fairy and around. Was pretty good riding for iowa. In the town of Harpers Fairy was the only place we saw snirt. Otherwise there was snow everywhere!

We opened up some trails that were closed from trees down and got into some really neat areas. The jump we found was one of twenty. Really fun ride.

We werent hitting it very hard, only jumping 20'. After a few good runs it started packing down.

Diddo on the yamaha not liking to land...My rx1 would land and about die, the sx600r land and you feel it thru your back. #$%&*

Having ridden with Brent, I would say that what you are seeing is his shovel. He rides with a backpack and the shovel handle sticks up over his shoulder.

I road an rx1 in powder...i needed a shovel!

I try to cary my backpack, keep all my first aid kit in it. This year I think I have room under the hood on my RTX to keep the pack at home??

Hey DAVE, I just dropped the hammer on a '07 RTX w/512 miles on it. It comes with lots of things. But I am sure I will have to update a couple more before winter. :offtopic:

ALRIGHT!! You gonna leave it a shorty? I liked the reaction of that skid off the bumps during the demo. I just NEED a 136 skid to balance a few pounds out LOL.
