Hi folks. I am wondering if someone has a good underhood picture of a 2001 SRX 700. I just purchased one of these sleds and it looks like there is an exhaust spring that might be out of place. It is not one of the springs that connects the can (silencer) to the pipes. The one I am actually wondering about is a much longer spring that looks like it should probably go over the uppermost pipe (number 3).
Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

PM me your e-mail. I have my pipes off right now and can send you a pic. In the meantime, the spring for the right pipe is 7 1/2" long, clips under the pipe to one of the gold cross braces at the nose of the sled. It is NOT a super strong spring like the head pipe springs and is easily removed. also try mi9cro-fiche for p/n as it sounds as though you need it anyway.

Takes 10min with a Mother's or Flitz ball and some paste.

Thats what i was wondering about(Flitz ball or mothers ball), what kinda
past??
past??
I used Flitz, don't imagine it matters though, I think the material the ball is made from is the trick. Eagle One polish works well too.

Simi-chrome works great. Used alot by semi drivers to get the chrome on their trucks to a mirror finish.
